Byte Construct was appointed by the City of Bayswater to design and construct a new sports hall and amenities building in two stages.
Stage one included a sports hall with two basketball courts, state-of-the-art flooring, and natural ventilation. Stage two involved new team change rooms, first-aid and storage rooms, an extended aerobics area, and additional office space.
External works featured car park realignment and landscaping. The centre remained operational throughout the project, and Byte’s focus on safety ensured a successful, incident-free completion.
This project was awarded the Master Builders Association, Best Public Use Building ($5m – $10m) in the 2023 Excellence in Construction Awards.
