Byte Construct was awarded the contract by the Department of Finance (BMW) to construct the Education Support facility at Lakeland Senior High School. This project involved the creation of two single-storey steel-framed buildings with face brick veneer, along with the development of a new bus port and the reconfiguration of road works. An external walkway, adorned with panels crafted by a local artist, seamlessly connects to the new structures.
Within these newly constructed buildings, we established purpose-built classrooms for education support, versatile general learning spaces, a sensory room, and an independent skills room designed for life skills instruction.
Notably, this construction project was executed within an active school environment, with utmost attention to the safety of students, staff, and the public. Byte Construct implemented rigorous separation strategies and proficient traffic management solutions, ensuring a secure construction process that did not disrupt school operations or result in any incidents.
