Byte Construct have completed a significant project for All Saints’ College in Bull Creek, which involved the construction of a new Facilities Operations Centre. Designed by Godden Projects and Matthew Crawford Architects, the facility comprised of a grounds-shed, performing arts workshop, teaching rooms, offices and amenities. The demolition of the existing workshop sheds took place early in the contract to enable Byte to construct the additional car park and hand over to the client early for utilisation. The old sheds were repurposed thus reducing the environmental impact to the project.
All construction activities took place within a live school environment, necessitating strict work-at-height controls and vehicle management practices, especially during peak hour school drop off and pick up time. In an environment where safety is paramount Byte were delighted to deliver the project on time and without incident.
