Situated on the corner of William Street and St Georges Terrace Perth, 111 is an early 1980’s building located at the heart of the CBD’s premium café, bar and dining precinct.
To maintain the buildings A-grade office status, the client wanted an upgrade to the plaza and lobby of the building and with the addition of new tenancies create a vibrant restaurant and informal meeting area.
Demolition and repair works included removal of existing canopies, hard landscaped paving elements, planters, lighting, flagpoles, ramps and stairs, slab repair and waterproofing.
New works included external ground floor tenancies incorporating decorative precast concrete, timber, aluminium cladding, granite paving, artwork and soft landscaping. The lobby refurbishment included new ceilings, decorative feature lobby walls, new concierge, full height glazing and granite paving.
Throughout the works, it was imperative to maintain access to the building for the general public and tenants while ensuring a safe environment at all times. Particular emphasis was also placed on noise and traffic management which meant work was generally undertaken out of hours.
