Melville City Council engaged Byte Construct, a leading Western Australia construction company, to refresh their 80s council office building facade and address deterioration.
The design team chose the prefinished ‘Bluechip Equitone Pictura’ product, applied to CFC sheets, for a modern upgrade. The building’s operations continued during the staged demolition, steel frame investigation, and remedial work.
The project also involved balcony retiling and drainage rectification. Completed during autumn/winter, Byte closely monitored weather conditions to protect internal areas.
