Byte was engaged as the preferred contractor to construct South 32’s new offices at 108 St Georges Terrace, an iconic contemporary tower in Perth’s CBD, showcase a strong design statement for a business focused on mining non-ferrous metals.
We delivered the project one month ahead of schedule, with a contiguous workspace over nine floors and a business lounge in the Palace Hotel.
We overcame design challenges to accommodate the fit-out within the existing building, including compatibility with base build network interfaces and coordination with separately contracted MCR works.
Stage 2 involved working within the heritage-listed Palace Hotel, requiring sensitivity to ensure the design and construction complemented the existing heritage areas.
