ECU Bunbury

Byte Construct led the transformation of Edith Cowan University (ECU) South West’s Bunbury Campus, revitalising Building One to establish the University Department of Rural Health (UDRH) South-West.

This Design & Construct project unfolded in three stages, addressing diverse needs. Stage A breathed new life into the staff room, created an inviting entry foyer, open-plan office, and meeting spaces. Stage B enhanced collaboration with dynamic meeting rooms. Lastly, Stage C involved painting and a new entry door for the Student Hub, ensuring a cohesive environment.

Operating on a live site, safety was paramount for Byte Construct. Stringent safety measures and pre-planned access strategies prioritised the well-being of students and staff. Maintaining a hard separation between construction activities and the campus ensured a smooth and secure project execution.

With ECU as a repeat client, Byte Construct was eager to contribute to the realisation of a cutting-edge hub for health education, research, and collaboration, exemplifying their commitment to innovation and excellence in construction.
