Byte Construct is proud to announce the successful completion of the award-winning streetscape upgrade of the renamed Village Green at the old Waterford Plaza site. This transformative project recently earned Byte the 2024 Master Builders Excellence in Construction Award for Best Refurbishment or Renovation $5M – $10M, recognising the team’s dedication and innovation.
The latest stage of the project focused on enhancing pedestrian and vehicle access, as well as upgrading public facilities along High Street between Kent Street and Walanna Drive. The improvements have created a more cohesive and vibrant space, significantly boosting public use of the seating areas and benefiting local food and beverage venues. Customers are enjoying the refreshed layout, which also allows for hosting future pop-up events.
The project also included the base-build fit-out of five vacant food and beverage spaces, which are now ready for new occupants.
Throughout the project, Byte upheld a “safety-first” approach, ensuring the protection of existing tenants and the wider public, a testament to the team’s commitment to excellence.
