JHub Maccabi Community Centre

Following a successful ECI process, Byte has completed the new JHub Maccabi Community Centre in Yokine. The project involved the demolition of the existing centre on Woodrow Avenue and the construction of a new facility that includes a Holocaust Education Centre, a youth group wing, and a childcare centre.

Construction of the new facility commenced after the full demolition of the existing building, which served as the home of the WA Jewish Community since 1952. The new edifice reflects the values of the WA Jewish Community.

The single storey building comprises of the main Community Centre together with a separate childcare facility, a new carpark and extensive hard and soft landscaping.

The JHub aims to become a social facility that will serve as a hub for community engagement through its programs, services, and events. It is expected to become one of Perth’s most significant gathering spaces.

With a great track record and experience, Byte delivered a high-quality outcome for Maccabi WA and the local community.
