Byte Construct was invited to bid on the Rendezvous Hotel podium refurbishment, a key part of the hotel’s transformation and the beginning of major redevelopments along the Scarborough beachfront.
The proposal included a comprehensive interior renovation, targeting areas like the Straits Café, Lobby Bar, Grand Ballroom, guest reception, Atrium entrance, and mezzanine boardrooms. Additionally, the Esplanade retail strip was set for redevelopment, and the hotel planned to install new elevators, escalators, external stairs, and relocate the basement parking entrance.
High-quality results and premium finishes were crucial to reflect the hotel’s upgrade and rebranding, while highlighting the coastal location and ocean views. Byte Construct collaborated closely with hotel management to ensure minimal disruptions to guests and maintain access to essential facilities.
