Westralia Square 2, a pioneering timber-framed building in Perth CBD, has recently reached completion. Savills Project Management has successfully secured a lease on the 7th floor and is now gearing up for the upcoming relocation phase.

Byte have been engaged to undertake the fit out of the new tenancy which encompasses a wide array of elements, each contributing to the overall transformation of the space.

Among these tasks are the careful preservation of the ceiling grid and tiles for future use, together with the installation of unique and striking ceiling and lighting solutions. Additionally, the project involves the strategic placement of new partitions, effectively delineating areas for meetings, wellness, storage, and offices.

As part of the transition process, new flooring will be installed and comprise of vinyl and carpet finishes to create distinct sections. Additionally, the project includes the integration of new joinery and acoustic wall linings, seamless arrangement of workstations and loose furniture, and adaptation of base building services to accommodate layout changes.

Aesthetic enhancements such as comprehensive painting of partitions, exposed ceilings, and feature walls will be executed, further elevating the visual appeal. Practical elements, including signage, window film, and room identification, are also on the agenda.

Security will be a priority, with the establishment of secure access control that will be seamlessly linked to the existing SEME system. To ensure a smooth and functional outcome, rigorous commissioning, defect rectification, and thorough staff training will be conducted, underscoring Byte’s commitment to quality.
