Byte Construct was recently engaged to complete the fit-out works within a new build development, located on the ground floor of this mixed use complex. The space is designed to be a workplace accommodating up to 80 staff whilst also incorporating the gradual move to hybrid working.
The overall area is 1,000m2 combining workspaces and amenities as well as interactive and flexible meeting room spaces. The kitchen area is designed to create an inviting hub that enhances the workplace environment and staff harmony.
The works required extensive and complex coordination with the separate base-build contractors who were concurrently working on the above new accommodation venue on Level 1.
To enable the project to be carried out as smoothly as possible, a Construction Management form of contract was entered into with the client. This enabled work to commence whilst finalising procurement of sub-contractor trade packages on an open-book basis.
The project was not without its challenges, however the end result incorporated design and functionality for the future of workspaces, whilst also being aesthetically stunning. The project handed over on time and under budget, resulting in a very satisfied client.
