Byte were proudly involved in the make-over of this typical 1980s suburban, public library. The brief was to retain as much of the structure as possible, utilising sustainable concepts on a modest budget.
The end result as you will see, is a smart, colourful design, that is visually appealing, whilst also functional for use by the community.
It seems the experts agree as it has been shortlisted for the following awards:
Finalist in the DULUX 36th Annual Colour Awards – Commercial and Multi-Residential Exterior Category to be announced on the 1st of June, and; 
Shortlisted for the AIA WA Chapter Architecture Awards in the Categories of Sustainability and Small Projects Category. This will be announced on the 9th of June.

This was a great collaboration from everyone on this project, and it was a joy working with the City of Canning, Chindarsi Architects and all involved.
