We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Jewish Community Centre (J-Hub) project by Byte Construct. This endeavour has not only been about constructing a vital community building but also about creating a space that enriches our community with a deep sense of history and belonging.

Byte Construct was honoured to secure the ECI contract for this transformative project, which involved demolishing the existing centre on Woodrow Avenue and constructing a new facility that includes a community centre, a childcare centre and a Holocaust Education Centre, as well as a youth group wing, alongside other essential amenities.

The original building has stood as a pillar of the WA Jewish Community since 1952. Now, with its complete demolition and the unveiling of the new facility, we are proud to showcase an architectural masterpiece that reflects the core values and aspirations of the community.

Our approach has been rooted in sustainability and respect for the environment. The landscape strategy prioritised preserving existing trees and incorporating sustainable practices, such as reusing and donating recovered materials from the previous building.

J-Hub has been created to provide a vibrant hub for community engagement, offering diverse programs, services, and events that will undoubtedly make it one of Perth’s most iconic gathering spaces.

At Byte Construct, delivering excellence is our hallmark, and we are delighted to have played a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life for Maccabi as our valued client. We look forward to seeing J-Hub foster connection and inspire generations to come.
