Officially launched last Friday, this major redevelopment will play a vital role in delivering essential services and housing for people experiencing homelessness.
Located in a warehouse on Beach Street, the new St Pat’s Engagement Hub will offer a safe, welcoming space for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The Hub will provide access to a wide range of specialist support services, including dental care, healthcare, legal assistance, and financial support.
St Pat’s CEO, Michael Piu, said the Hub, thoughtfully designed by Slavin Architects and currently under construction by Byte Construct, will significantly expand the organisation’s capacity to reach those most at risk, both now and into the future.
“The growing number of both individuals and families with children living on the brink of poverty is deeply confronting, and it demands that we act now while building our capacity to serve our community in the years to come. Every element of the Hub has been carefully planned to maximise service delivery while ensuring visitors feel welcome, supported, and valued from the moment they walk through the door,” Mr Piu said.
Byte Construct is proud to contribute to this important community initiative and remains committed to delivering high‑quality projects that create lasting social impact.
