We are thrilled to announce that Byte Construct has been selected as the preferred contractor to commence the construction phase of the Marine Rescue Whitfords headquarters and two-story Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club. These will be the first buildings being constructed at the highly anticipated Ocean Reef Marina, a State Government priority project being led by DevelopmentWA.
Byte Construct is honoured to contribute to this transformative endeavour, particularly in delivering a modern replacement for the aging Marine Rescue Whitfords building.
🔹 Modernising Marine Rescue Whitfords: Delivering a much-needed upgrade for the state’s volunteer rescue service. The new facility will feature dedicated spaces for training, equipment maintenance, and administration, along with a radio communications tower to ensure continued essential maritime rescue services. It will also house office space for the marina manager and amenities for future boat pen holders.
🔹 Building the New Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club: This two-storey building will host the relocated Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club and Joondalup City RSL, key community clubs within the northern suburbs. The facility will offer an enhanced dining and bar experience, a first-floor outdoor deck with stunning marina views, and improved angling, diving, and sailing amenities.
