Significant tenancy enhancements to the Ocean Keys Shopping Centre have recently been completed by Byte Construct. The latest project encompassed the complete transformation of the former Woolworths store, with it subdivided into three separate tenancies. One of these new tenancies now houses the much-anticipated TK Maxx. This undertaking entailed extensive demolition and structural renovations within an operational shopping centre, necessitating utmost care to minimise disruptions for surrounding tenants and the general public.

One of the primary hurdles we faced was the restricted access, requiring all materials and equipment to pass through a shared, single loading dock. Despite this constraint, our team adeptly streamlined logistics, maintaining a seamless workflow without impeding deliveries to other tenancies.

Throughout the project’s execution, we encountered delays in procuring mechanical equipment. However, in close collaboration with our client, we devised alternative work sequences to ensure minimal impact on the overall project timeline.

Our ability to complete the project within the designated timeframe and budget, alongside ongoing communication and feedback, allowed us to promptly address challenges and adapt to evolving site requirements.

The Ocean Keys Shopping Centre project demanded meticulous planning, adaptability, and robust communication. Byte Construct’s diligent approach and efficient management guaranteed the successful culmination of the project, meeting the client’s expectations and delivering a high-calibre outcome for the tenant.
