Set to join us in early 2020, Simone’s life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thanks to a promise she made to her cousin, also battling the disease, Simone got tested, and now she’s not only a survivor but a proud member of our team.
We recognise that Simone’s story is just one of many. With 1 in 7 Aussie women being diagnosed with breast cancer, it’s crucial to raise awareness and support.
This October, Byte is swapping our signature blue for a vibrant pink to honour Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We stand in solidarity with those who have faced, are facing, or will face this disease, as well as their loved ones who provide unwavering support.
Simone’s charity of choice, Breast Cancer Care WA, has been a lifeline for her and countless others during their journey to recovery.
